![]() ![]() ❤️ #instagramtips #socialmediatipsandtricks #igtips #instagramtip #reelstips I use Adobe Premiere Rush when I want to add a second video on top of my reel (you could add a banner/button on top of the watermark, saying “tutorial” for example) or you could crop the video and reupload it slightly larger than before. There are a lot of third party websites which will take the watermark off though (they just need a quick Google, and I’d check the Trustpilot reviews too so it’s not a spammy website) but as I haven’t tried any of the Instagram ones, the second option is to get creative. ✨ How to get rid of the watermark ✨ Instagram doesn’t penalise you if you repost a reel with an Instagram watermark (just if it’s from a competitor app like here on TikTok) and as it’s so small/wouldn’t appear on the feed’s crop when you post, I actually wouldn’t worry about taking it off. (As I say, I definitely see this as a solid back-up!) A watermark will appear but its in the bottom right and it’s small, so it’s not like here when they blast the watermark all over videos. So, I went hunting around for a solution and if you turn on the “Save reels to your device” in the reels tab, you’ll get a copy of your reel everytime you post □. ![]() (You can do this by clicking on the downward arrow in the reels editing page) It’s easy to forget to save them though and I’ve had A LOT of Instagram DMs from people forgetting to save their content and then losing their reel, or when I’ve asked them if they ever repost their reels, “but I don’t have a copy”. How to automatically save your reels ⬇️ Everything has been a little bit glitchy on Instagram recently, hasn’t it □ so I’d always, always recommend you save your reels WHILST you’re editing your content. ![]()
